Viewing Prayers In A Group

After you join a group, you may view all the prayers that have been posted to that group by any of its members.

To view the prayers within a prayer group:

1. Tap the Groups button at the bottom of the page:

2. Be Still displays the Groups page.  The groups of which you are either a member or the admin are listed as white rows.  If you are the admin of a group, Be Still displays Admin on the right side:

4. Tap any group.  Be Still opens the prayer list for that group:

This page is sometimes called the group prayer list to distinguish it from your own personal prayers on your My Prayers page.

The heading on a prayer list clearly shows whether you are viewing prayers in a group or not.  If the heading is any of the following:

then you are viewing your own My Prayers list.  If the heading is a group name, however, then the prayers belong to a group and are visible to all the members of that group.  Examples:

Prayers in group prayer lists can change status to archived or marked as answered, and group prayer lists have a filter icon just like your My Prayers list does.

Unlike the My Prayers headings, however, group prayer headings display both the group name and the current filter in effect:

Prayers on a group prayer list behave very much like prayers on your own My Prayers prayers.  You can tap any prayer to open its detail page.  The filter and search operations on a group page behave just like the filter and search on your My Prayers page.

Prayers in your My Prayers list have many prayer options, such as share, edit, archive, delete, and so forth.  Prayers in group prayer lists also have options, but they differ from the options in your My Prayers list.  Furthermore, these options for group prayers can vary, depending on whether you are the admin of the group or a member, or whether you or another member created the prayer.
